How long do BBL results last?
BBL results are permanent once the transferred fat cells establish blood supply — typically after 3-6 months. However, you should expect some initial volume loss (around 30-40%) as not all transferred fat survives. Your surgeon accounts for this by transferring more fat than needed.
To maintain your results long-term, you’ll need to keep a stable weight. Significant weight gain or loss will affect your BBL results, just as it would affect any other part of your body.
How long before I can sit normally after BBL?
You should avoid sitting directly on your buttocks for 2-3 weeks after surgery. During this time, you’ll use your BBL pillow (included in your package) when sitting is unavoidable. This protects the newly transferred fat cells while they establish blood supply.
After 3 weeks, you can gradually return to normal sitting with the pillow. By 6-8 weeks, most patients can sit normally without restrictions.
Is BBL surgery safe in Turkey?
Yes, when performed by a qualified, board-certified surgeon using proper techniques. Our surgeons follow the latest BBL safety guidelines, including:

When can I fly home after BBL?
We recommend staying in Turkey for 7-10 days after your BBL surgery. You’ll fly home with your BBL pillow to use during the flight, and we’ll provide compression stockings to reduce DVT risk.
The 4-hour flight to the UK is manageable — you’ll stand periodically and use your pillow when seated. Most patients find the journey home comfortable with proper preparation.
What’s the recovery time for BBL?
